Where does a dimpled chin come from?
When you speak, drink or close your lips, the chin muscle works too. If it is very active, it pulls the skin into small dents. Over the years the skin on the chin becomes thinner, and the dents stay visible even at rest.
What happens at the appointment?
First I ask you to press your lips firmly together, and I watch how your chin moves. We talk about what you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle. It only takes a few minutes.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
After a few days you notice that your chin stays calmer. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts three to six months.

No. The treatment only relaxes the muscle. The shape of your chin stays the same.

Most people look more relaxed afterwards. We decide together how strongly to treat, because this can be adjusted through the dose.
Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no make-up and no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage the injection sites.
