Why do the corners of the mouth turn down?
On each side, a small muscle pulls the corner of the mouth down, and its counterpart pulls it up. Over the years the lower one often gains the upper hand, and the corners of the mouth stay down even at rest.
What happens at the appointment?
First I look at the corners of your mouth at rest and when you smile. We talk about what you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle. It only takes a few minutes.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
After a few days you notice that the muscle pulls the corners of your mouth down less. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts three to six months.

Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no make-up and no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage the injection sites.
