Why do the nostrils flare when I smile?
When you laugh, a small muscle pulls the nostrils outwards. If it is very strong, they flare noticeably, and the nose looks wider.
What happens at the appointment?
First I ask you to smile, and I watch how your nostrils move. We talk about what you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle. It only takes a few minutes.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
After a few days you notice that your nostrils flare less when you smile. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts three to six months.

Will my nose become permanently narrower?
No. The treatment works on the movement when you smile. Bone and cartilage stay as they are.
Will I still look natural?
Most people look more balanced when they smile afterwards. We decide together how strongly to treat, because this can be adjusted through the dose.
Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no make-up and no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage the injection sites.
