Why do some people sweat so much?
With hyperhidrosis, you sweat more than your body needs to cool down. This happens even at rest, at the office or during an important conversation.
What happens at the appointment?
First I ask you how long you have been sweating like this and how heavily. With a colour test I make visible exactly where you sweat. We talk about what you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle at many small points in the skin of your underarms.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
You usually notice within a few days that you sweat less. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts six to nine months, sometimes longer.

Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage your underarms. No exercise for the first 24 hours.
