Many people come to me because lines on the forehead, between the brows or beside the eyes make them look more tired or stern than they feel. With botulinum toxin I relax the muscles that form these lines. The aim is a fresher, more relaxed expression.

Where do expression lines come from?
Every time you laugh, frown or raise your eyebrows, the muscles underneath contract and fold the skin. Over the years the skin loses some of its elasticity, and the lines stay visible even at rest.
What happens at the appointment?
I take a calm look at your face at rest and in motion: when you laugh, frown and raise your eyebrows. We talk about which zones you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle. It only takes a few minutes.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
After a few days you notice that the treated muscles move less strongly. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts three to six months.

Which zones can be treated?
Most often the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet. There are also smaller zones such as Bunny Lines, Lip Flip, mouth corner lift or dimpled chin. Which zones suit your face is something we look at together.
Will I still look natural?
Most people look fresher and more relaxed afterwards. We decide together how strongly to treat, because this can be adjusted through the dose.
Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no make-up and no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage the injection sites.
