Many people come to me because the fine lines beside their eyes deepen when they laugh and stay there afterwards. With botulinum toxin I relax the outer part of the ring muscle around the eye. The aim is a fresher, more awake look.

Where do crow’s feet come from?
Every time you laugh or look into the sun, you squint slightly. The muscle around the eye folds the skin out to the side. Over the years fine lines remain that are visible even at rest.
What happens at the appointment?
First I ask you to give me a big, warm laugh, and I look at where the lines form. We talk about what you would like, and I explain everything to you in person. If everything is right for you, I treat you straight away in the same appointment, with a very fine needle. It only takes a few minutes.
When does it take effect, and how long does it last?
After a few days you notice that the lines form less strongly when you laugh. After 14 days the effect is complete. The effect usually lasts three to six months.

Does it help with dark circles too?
No, the treatment works on the fine lines beside the eyes. For a tired-looking eye area, polynucleotides may be an option. We talk about that at the studio.
Will I still look natural?
Most people look fresher and more awake afterwards. We decide together how strongly to treat, because this can be adjusted through the dose.
Can I go straight back to work?
Yes, you can go straight back to work afterwards. The tiny needle marks are usually barely visible after just a few minutes. That is why an appointment before work or during your lunch break works well too.
What should I keep in mind after the treatment?
In the first 4 hours after treatment, please do not lie down. On the day of treatment, no make-up and no alcohol, and do not touch, rub or massage the injection sites.
